![]() Richard, homing in on the words "magic wand", rushes over and asks Gumball for it. They conclude that the magic wand is fake. Darwin tries wishing for the same thing on Gumball as well, this time he waving it, but still yielding the same result. Gumball grabs it in hopes that it would be able to satisfy his wish of having six eyes, but has no effect instead. After having a conversation about why lunch is better than breakfast or dinner, a plastic wand falls out from the cereal box and on to Darwin's bowl of cereal. Squidward got harmed in the same way during Smooth Jazz at Bikini Bottom at Squid Baby. The episode begins in the dining room with Richard trying to unclog the kitchen sink with a toilet plunger and Gumball serving cereal for Darwin and himself. I don't need The Amazing World of Gumball or other shows that should know better to do the same to Anais. It was annoying enough to see the same shtick of stupid people hurting Eric Feeble for 13 episodes. And this shtick of "stupid or dangerous things keep happening around them" was already done better before in The Allergy. Why are we supposed to find Anais' pain funny? The only positive thing about this Anais torture porn is that Anais gets payback for what she did in The Rival. Not only was the staple joke of stupid for the sake of stupid unfunny before the 1st time, or after the 20th time, it's always the same shtick whether Anais is present or not. Dead baby jokes like this and The Rival are like playing with matches in a room full of dynamite. When the only comedy or plot points comes from making everything worse, it's too depressing and heartbreaking to watch, especially when The Amazing World of Gumball usually has better writing than this. The Amazing World of Gumball should know better than to be Stressed Eric! They are not the same kind of show, and if no one responsible for Anais is smart enough to stop her from face-palming herself, then I don't care about anyone in this episode, even Anais herself. The story is just too depressing, and isn't worth watching if it's an unsolvable problem that everyone is too stupid to solve because doing the opposite of everything is their entire character in this one episode. Daniel Gerson had brain cancer in 2016, which taught me that brain damage is NO laughing matter. What do you get when you cross Stressed Eric's Hospital with Spongebob Squarepants's Squid Baby? You get The Amazing World of Gumball's The Brain. If a day without laughter is a day wasted, then a world without heroism is a world wasted. Do you remember when Anais liked her family the way they were in The Painting? Much like The Worst or The Finale, this is another episode that is very bad and never should have happened because it does and says nothing about the problems it brings up, making it impossible to care about even the best characters in a hopeless story. Luckily, Anais dreamed this up after Gumball said "WHAT? 9 days?" but the moral of the story is that Anais is doomed to be tortured by her miserable family's stupidity forever and keep facepalming herself until she dies or becomes stupider than the rest of them. In most any other episode, they would never be that dumb. Gumball, Darwin and Richard are beyond flanderized when it comes to stupidity, like turning their dinner upside down for 180 degrees, and Gumball thinking a week was 9 days instead of 7. I am too angry at the joke about the boss baby and the CEO fetus to even question how far that pushes the suspension of disbelief. I swear, it is like the writers of The Amazing World of Gumball took stupid pills just so it will seem funny for Gumball, Darwin and Richard do stupid things that nearly kill Anais when she is already in danger, like holding a stop sign for 10! miles per hour upside down so it says 101.
